she liked Imaginary Men best of all

On the bed, on the floor, on the towel, by the door!

I saw The Adjustment Bureau tonight because – duh – it stars Matt Damon and He. Is. Awesome. His character David Norris starts the movie campaigning for Senate and so the first fifteen minutes are familiar political photo ops: speeches at podiums, Daily Show appearances, rallies and the like. It got me thinking that Matt Damon looks so natural – or as his character says “authentic” doing those things he should really just run for President one day. His ticket could be “I’m Jason Motherfuckin’ Bourne!” for all I care.

I just hope this piece of brilliance doesn’t compromise his chances to eventually live at  1600 Pennsylvania Avenue:

Go to 2:25 if you want to avoid all Sarah Silverman’s obnoxious blathering, and the “Dance-Off” at 4:05 may be my favorite Matty Moment EVER!

  1. I swear, I could watch this video 100 times, and it would never get old. I’m especially grateful to you for providing me with the “cheat” that will allow me to skip over the grating Sara Silverman Intro, and get right to the good stuff!

I actually really wanted to see The Adjustment Bureau. In addition to adoring Matt Damon, I am also a huge fan of the Sexy Silver Fox that is John Slattery. I don’t care that he pretty much always plays a douchebag, in every movie or show in which he is featured (That car commercial being a possible exception . . . unless, you are like me, and hate people who drive nice cars.) I also don’t care that he is sort of/ kind of old enough to be my dad. I think he is DELICIOUS! 🙂

    • You should definitely see it. It has some interesting ideas about free will, fate and the like. But the most important reason is that Matt and Emily Blunt have SO much chemistry it oozes off the screen and glazes over you making even the most hard-hearted feel all lovey and gooey 😉

Slattery is pretty entertaining with some rather sly humor.

This video will never not be Made of Win!
