Fangirls fangirls everywhere!

I have been planning on doing a scrapbook from my Dublin trip for – well – nearly two years now. Finally this month I started taking a class and getting to work on it and I’m really excited to finally be putting all my pictures, ticket stubs and general memorabilia from our trip and U2 show into one pretty, crafty package instead of in a bin on my office floor 😉

This weekend our teacher was showing us some pages from her own scrapbook and was especially excited to show off some the ones dedicated to a crush of hers – a certain Ruggedly Handsome TV Star from the 80’s who is still popular today. In fact she has written an entire episode of a current series he’s in and made it into a scrapbook!

I was dying because 1. That’s adorable 2. That sounds like something I would totally do (and I’m sure will) and 3. You could see how thrilled she was to be sharing this and that we weren’t eye rolling but oohing and aahhing. There is nothing quite as satisfying as watching a fangirl come out of the obsessive closet – you can just see the joy the object of their affection brings to them and even if I don’t always see the attraction (Him? Really?!) I try to be supportive because I know how much my crushes mean to me.

My favorite fangirlie detail? That she knew where they filmed the series so she Google mapped it so she could print pictures of the actual area so it would perfectly match the pictures of him she had from the show!

  1. That’s so awesome!!! Not only is she helping you put together something that reminds you of being a fan, but she made something that’s about her being a fangirl too! Damn, Michael’s must have a great hiring process 😉
