Commence Birthday Countdown!

Last year I had a Birthday Week and went to NYC and had a little work party with fellow Scorpions and various other celebrations a year after having the Worst Birthday Ever.

This year I’ve been having a Birthday Month by going to England, planning a Scorpion Bowl bowling party with fellow work Scorpions, and a girlie tea party with my girlfriends.

It has already been a pretty fabulous Birthday Month. The day I got to London Kathryn treated me to an early Birthday treat of High Tea at The Dorchester Hotel! VERY posh!!! The male waiters wear tuxes with tails and they fluff your pillows and pour your tea and serve you tasty little sandwiches with silver tongs. It was so lovely and charming and exciting, we had such a wonderful afternoon there feeling all fancy. Two days later Felicity gave me a fabulous surprise birthday gift that included Cadbury treats (mmmmmm!!) When I got home I had a package from a friend that was a hat she knit for me that looks like the top of an eggplant! (I asked her for one of these ten years ago – and with a little patience – I finally got it 🙂 )

So I’m excited about my actual Birthday since everything leading up to it has been pretty damn great. I still don’t have this fucking shirt though!:

  1. So glad you had a wonderful elegant time in London, love new english boyfriend Walkers sounds yummy.let the celebrating begin at least two weeks of b-day spoiling-love L.

  2. A week today will be all kinds of awesome and I wish I could spend it with you as well. But I’ll serve myself a scone with silver tongues in your honour from across this side of the pond instead!

  3. It has come to my attention that I don’t know your actual birthdate! So, upon reading THIS post, I clicked on all its embedded links, hoping I could find it. And it was quite the little guessing game . . . :). I see references to “Birth Week” and “Birth Month,” but not “Birthday.” (Unless it’s on November 2nd? Is it?)

Also, while we’re on the subject of dates, do you HAVE a 2011 calendar? Or are you still in search of one? I was just curious . . . no particular reason. 😉

    • A week from today. And I have no 2011 calendars. I’ll just have to guess what day it is next year ;-0

  4. Everyone needs to have a birthday month-why limit it to a freakin’ day!?!?!

Last year was great-but in the tradition of all things epic, this one has to be bigger badder and awesome and it definitely will be and already has-I can feel it!
