Left my brain in London

I’m baaack!

Well, my body is. My brain is elsewhere. I had an amazing week in England seeing Brandon Flowers and enjoying the fabulous company of my girl Kathryn. I’m tired, I’m getting sick, I’m missing Kat like hell and I have the double whammy of post-vacation/post-concert letdown.

I also have a house that is in total disarray and a job I need to go back to tomorrow. There’s an overflowing DVR (yet it somehow managed to NOT record The Vampire Diaries! WTF??) and piles of luggage, English groceries and other assorted stacks of my life all over the place to step around until I gain the energy to deal with them.

I promise to get back to being an obsessive blogging fangirl as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience! Look at this pretty boy while you wait. He’s the reason I’m in this state and you know what? He’s absolutely worth it:

Author: Amy H. Johnson

Amy H. Johnson is the author of The Fangirl Files a memoir about Boy Bands, TV Boyfriends and imaginary betrothals to 80s English pop stars. She prefers to be referred to as a "Cute Famous Boy Aficionado".

  1. Ha! It would be the ‘intense britches’ pic!!!

Aww my dear – it’s not the same here now you’ve been and gone 😦 Everything has a little Amy reference! “You let me into your life on a whim and there was magic and fire in the night”, so why you have to live so far away?!

  2. He’s like “Yeah I know what I did. I just made this girl’s life a total clusterfuck and now she has no idea how to get everything back in order. AND I made her subconsciously forget to DVR some vampires. That’s the kind of power I have!”

Who needs real life? Have a Cadbury bar, relax, and enjoy being an obsessive fangirl 🙂
