she liked Imaginary Men best of all

Flowers Friday: Pure as New York Snow edition

Brandon Flowers (maybe you’ve heard of him? 🙂 ) is doing a cover of the 80’s classic Bette Davis Eyes in concert. A song that came out the year he was born – which – hey thanks Brandon for making me feel ancient!

Anyway he does an amazing job and apparently in LA the other night introduced it with, if you don’t like this song, there’s something wrong with you. AMEN!

We were standing by a member of Brandon’s inner circle who was shocked that we knew this song. That’s because acting like a 14 year old keeps you lookin’ young!

  1. You can actually hear us talking in the background in the beginning of the clip. Heee. We were THERE!!!! Still riding that high.

  2. And it’s funny cuz you first heard this song “when you were young” :-PPPPP

Can’t wait to hear it live next week-but I might make a sign that says “Sing Hotel California”!!!!!!!

  3. Great vid! I love live concert videos, where you can actually HEAR the fans singing along with the song. They always sound really good, which is impressive when you consider the sheer number of voices taking part. It’s like a built-in chorus! 🙂

Did you check the date on the video? Was this the concert YOU attended? If so, and Brandon ever releases a Live in Las Vegas album, you can tell everyone you sang backup on it . . . 😉
