Flowers Friday: Bridge of Flowers edition

Near where I live is a place called The Bridge of Flowers. Go ahead and click, I’m not kidding you! Of course I take all my BranFan girls up there so we can rejoice in our boy having a name as fun as “Flowers” and not something boring like “Rogers”.

Jill and I made the trek Monday for the International Day of Joy and Celebration otherwise known as Brandon Flowers’ 29th Birthday. Here’s what we saw:

BrandonFlowers!

BranLilies!

BRoses!

BranBells!

Of course a lovely place like this can’t just run itself, which is why they ask for donations of time and money to keep it so pretty:

Won't you please give? We did!

These pictures made a person on the internet question my sanity – which – hey, if loving music, giggling with your friend, and spending an afternoon surrounded by beauty makes me nuts – then yes, I am one crazy bitch and proud of it.

  1. That would be I who had the crisp $100! Even more crazy is that I put my credit card out there too. So should I have lost money or become the victim of identity theft, it would have been in the name of Flowers.

It was amazing and I loved all of it. But I wish I had seeds to grow my own BRoses and BranLillies! And f*ck that woman who thinks you’re crazy. You have a whole army of Obsessives to support you!

If Brandon’s last name was MULLEN, then we could still work with that ๐Ÿ˜‰

  2. very flowery ,its a stunning bridge-L

  3. what i’d like to know is, which one of you had a crisp new $100 hanging around to just casually tuck into the fake stem around the donation box, caring not for the danger if an errant breeze were to snatch it away?
