How lucky am I??

I have the greatest friends – THE GREATEST!!!

Recently I have been bombarded with incredibly nice things from amazing women. I have come home to enough packages to make me question if we’re at my birthday again already.

Last month I got a surprise batch of Damon Salvatore brownies from my “Lil Sis” Jill. Two days later Laura gave me the amazing Brandon/Killers Crush Crafts (which have received so many accolades I think she could get semi-rich off of Brandon Flowers cupcake picks!)

A few weeks ago after a very long and ridiculous commute, there was a box from Cafe Press waiting for me. Which was odd, because I didn’t order anything from them. Inside? This mug from my Sister in Salvatore Love Trish:

That gesture made the whole rest of the crappy day completely vanish. On top of that I’ve just had wonderful shoulders to lean on and advice given about some things I was going through.

I’ve got Heather in Vegas as my Stalker-by-Proxy on The Killers beat, I’ve got so many people invested in my Wall of Men that they are offering decorating tips and rating “cork-worthyness”, there’s Amy who is on-line every night ready to BranObsess with me,  Julie who is helping me through a summer sans Salvatores, Rachel who hilariously scanned online dating with me see if there really was anyone worthwhile, and Kathryn in England who is so excited that I’m going to come over for the Flamingo Tour that she’s taking time off so we can go on a proper Bridget Jones mini-break together.

Not to mention all the great friends I have who do and say things every day that make me so grateful to have them in my life. You know who you are and I love you.

I’m one lucky girl, yes indeed.

  1. Hey – we’re all lucky to have you, as the other ladies have said!

  2. Awww! Thanks so much for the sweet words and the shout out! Trust me, you have been helping ME get through the TVD hiatus WAY more than I have been helping you. Were it not for your Ian Somerhalder Tweets, hot TVD pics, and newsflashes, I would probably be running around New Jersey in a withdrawal-fueled rage, screaming, “IAN! IAN! IAN!” like a total loon . . .

You are the best blogging buddy ever, and I am so very lucky to have met you, Sister Wife. 😉

BTW, you know what starts on Sunday, right? 🙂

  3. Amy -usually i call you when i need help with big decisions and this so called life,we are so lucky to have you as our dear pal, such a smart and thoughtful and funny woman.you deserve all kinds of surprises and treats,as often as we please!!!! kisskiss L.

  4. You are very lucky and you deserve all of the crush crafts and obsessive themed desserts that come your way because you ARE the Master Obsesser 🙂

  5. Having to wait to plan our mini-break is killing me! Hurry up Brandon!! I just tweeted you on this very subject before I read this – great minds etc.

But what I really want to say is that WE’RE lucky to have you, baby! Love you, miss you ❤
