Thursday night I will be en route to Las Vegas, but my DVR will be working overtime to catch my beloved Salvatore Brothers, NBC Must See TV, and the Fringe “musical” episode!?
I’m sure this is a whimsical little time-out from the darkness of last week’s revelation that Peter Pacey is from “the other side” (like the “other side of the Creek? Like Little Joey Potter?!) and his subsequent smackdown of his dad and disappearance.
But whatever the plot or purpose – it has Josh Jackson sporting one of my all-time-fave guy looks: The Dapper 40’s Era Man: Fedoras! Spiffy suits! Side-parted hair!
I mean, really – all men should aspire to achieve even one ounce of the style and class of Cary Grant:
As my mom always sighs – He’s SO handsome!
Check out the very cool promo here and watch Fringe go 40’s era musical this Thursday at 9PM on Fox

Oh my! I don’t know what I’m enjoying most here from these comments! Amy, I totally forgot about the Civil war flashbacks in True Blood – so hot!
But then just imagining Pretty Boy Flowers stepping out of the smoke filled jazz club, looking up from the rim of his Fedora, all sultry eyes & pouty with a cigarette in his mouth, flipping a coin & saying something in a low, sexy, hushed tone like, You me babe, how about it?
Unf!
And p.s. I dread to think how full my V+ box is gonna be when I get back home!

OMG Kathryn I actually FORGOT about TB Civil War flashbacks! I was talking about the ones on “The Vampire Diaries”!! Why were so many vamps made in the Civil War??! ;-0
I LOVE your Pretty Boy Flowers scenario!!! I want his solo album to be old standards so he has to wear snappy suits and that side part, use one of those big old timey mikes! SWOON!!!!

ohmygosh!! I love Joshua Jackson… been a fan since the “Dawson Creek” days =] Man he looks good enough to eat with a spoon [and I do mean that in the most normal way possible] and Cary Grant? Oh where to begin? When did they stop making men like that? There are exceptions of course, like Brandon Flowers. Haha… But seriously, thanks for the post.

Wow! Can I just say Joshua Jackson would make one HOT mobster? This pic literally made my day. THANK YOU a million times for it! 🙂
By the way, do you recall whether Dawson’s Creek ever did a 40s era dream sequence? I seem to recall one, but I could totally be thinking about another show. If they didn’t, it was a TOTAL missed opportunity, in my opinion . . .

Heh. Josh Jackson would make one HOT anything!
A 40’s Creek sequence sounds vaguely familiar but not sure it actually happened! If it did it would have been Dawson’s dream i.e. lame: Jen would have been the femme fatale, Pacey the bad guy, Joey the good girl who the “hero” (friggin’ Dawson) would have to save. And I would have rolled my eyes so far back into my head I’d have had an aneurysm!
You know what era flashbacks I like – CIVIL WAR VAMPIRE FLASHBACKS baby!!!
