she liked Imaginary Men best of all

Do you have permission to be back there sir?

I don’t know how it started, but my mom and I invented this theory that Larry doesn’t let Bono behind his drums. In fact we like to think he doesn’t let anyone behind his drums except him and his tech Sam. And maybe the Edge (in an emergency.)

Jill got behind this theory as well, and had a bit of a fit on Larry’s behalf when Fergie was up behind his kit during the Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame concert last fall.

But then I found this picture in a book I got and went Oh shit! Does Larry know he was back there?! As if this “rule” we imagined for them ACTUALLY EXISTS!!

This happens a lot actually. We have so many U2 tales that we have to stop sometimes and say Is that really true? Or did we make it up?!

  1. You crack me up!

  2. Like how the EPIC HUG OF ALL HUGS came together? But I think they way we think that went down is how it really happened. It’s too good of a story!! And also, where else would BG/LG have been created? 🙂

And we all know pissy pants behind that kit was Bono’s idea. Larry should have hung with us over some Heinekens and cupcakes after that gig to get the aggression out!
