Killers Noir

I am totally in love with this Sam’s Town era picture of The Killers by James Dimmock:

Obviously a homage to Orson Welles’ The Lady from Shanghai:

This entire series of photos are fantastic – the boys really get into their “characters” and I wish they’d do more of these sort of scenario photoshoots instead of just stand and pose – let’s get a little more theatrical!

  1. I didn’t think they could get any cooler. I know this was probably the photographer’s concept, but they have such great taste to do this and everything they do!

JD Salinger sums things up quite nicely: “What really knocks me out is a book that, when you’re all done reading it, you wish the author that wrote it was a terrific friend of yours and you could call him up on the phone whenever you felt like it.”

Well quite simply I wish I could just call them up and say – nice work lads!
