she liked Imaginary Men best of all

I don’t trust people who say “oh I don’t really eat sweets” or “I don’t like chocolate” or “I don’t eat sugar” WTF?? That is just crazy talk as far as I’m concerned.

In Dublin this summer it was a Candy Fest the whole time. My mom and I LOVE chocolate from the United Kingdom and every day we’d stop at a Spar Shop (which is like 7-11 except better because it’s in Ireland) and load up on candy for the train, candy for the bus, candy for the walk home. Pretty much every visit to a newsagent or even a gas station (gotta use the ladies on the march up to Larry Mullen’s old stomping grounds!) incited new candy splurges.

I even took pictures of my candy:

For some reason there isn’t a Galaxy Bar in here which is my fave chocolate over there. The reason is probably because I ate it.

And to top it all off on the last day we went to see U2 at Croke Park and what was just inside the entrance to the stadium?:

A fucking CADBURY’S TRUCK!! AT A CONCERT!! Seeing U2 live in their hometown with 80,000 other fans after a 26 year wait was not the only thing that made my night!

  1. You know if Larry had his way there would have been a tea station at Croke Park that served the proper, Larry Mullen Jr. APPROVED way of how tea should taste. You know his picture would have been on the paper cups! And you totally would have walked out of there with a whole sleeve full of them 😉

  2. Someone after my own heart. I recently did a choclate quiz on Facebook and got 100%! I somehow missed the Cadbury’s van at Croke…..
