So 2010 is just a few days away. To that I say THANK GOD. I can’t say I’ve loved this decade all that much. It certainly had lots of ups and downs and really, really, downs. Relationships, jobs, money – all that fun stuff took some serious hits in my life since 2000.
But I’m happy to say that as the decade draws to a close, things are definately on an upswing. My life is good, my job is great, money is fine, the relationship is over and I’ve moved on. So bring it 2010, you can’t do any worse than the previous 10 years.
I’m also excited for the new year because of my New Years Eve plans: Sister Obsessive Jill is coming to ring in the next decade with the above titled celebration (because everything we do has to have a name: Stalkathon NYC Edition being our last Great Adventure in Obsessiveness.)
Right now all I can say is that these epic plans involve Irish themed gingerbread men, gingerbread houses, red velvet cake, and brownies which I suspect will somehow have sequins and/or feathers on them. I am both super excited and kind of scared (scared mostly of the potential sugar coma I will start the year in.)
