she liked Imaginary Men best of all

Yup. More about The Killers. More about Brandon Flowers. I’m obsessed – what can I say? That is all that goes on around here these days!

Last week I showed my mom the RAH DVD and she was suitably impressed. So much so that she reported they were in her car stereo for the rest of the week, and that she kept waking up with a different one of their songs in her head. Today we discussed our Thanksgiving plans which include: sitting around in comfy clothes and forgoing pies for ice cream sundaes – and she said I should bring over my “Killers concerts” and I raised my arms in victory! I can’t think of anything I’m more “thankful” for this year than the hotness of Brandon Flowers and all the amazing ladies I’ve met through my Killers love.

My campaign turned to Sarah this weekend who was already primed and ready. We sat down Saturday night with rum and cokes (what better way to view a Mormon but with caffeine and alcohol!?) and it was a non-stop obsession-fest for the rest of the night.

After the DVD came the YouTubing, after that we were in luck as Palladia was airing an old NME award show they performed at, by morning I was making promises to email her clips and photos later on.

And today? Today she tells me she’s not only watched all the clips I sent her twice, but she’s done some cyber stalking of her own, coming up with a hilarious old concert rider (Nutella AND Jaffa Cakes?? Oh these are my kind of guys!), and announcing that she’s joining the fan club next paycheck, oh and “we HAVE to see them in Las Vegas!”

I could not be more proud, I mean, I did the pushing but the Boys did the work with their sheer awesomeness. Plus resistance is futile when faced with this for two hours:
